Supercell
With the new Clash of Clans Christmas update, Supercell became increasingly popular with many more Clash of Clans downloads. The Helsinki-based business said operating profit rose to 515 million euros from 243 million in 2013. Supercell marketed themselves as one of the best by building on the suspense of the new Clash of Clans Christmas update of 2015. They performed this by slowly leaking information on the update in the months before. This allowed players to make assumptions, rumors, and analysts on the game, making Supercell the center of the mobile gaming industry for 2015.
Apple
Apple's profits for its iPhone and Macs for 2015 were phenomenal compared to previous years. In the fourth quarter of 2015, Apple sold 48.046 million iPhones and made $32,209 billion in revenue. In the fourth quarter of the previous year, they sold 39.272 million iPhones and made $23.678 billion in revenuer. In the fourth quarter of 2015, Apple sold 5.709 million Macs and made $6.882 billion. This was very impressive compared to its last year quarter sales of 5.520 million Macs sold and $6.625 billion in revenue. Apple continues to amaze and did just that in 2015.
EA DICE
EA DICE, also known as DICE, wasn't what anyone was talking about throughout 2015, until its latest game "Star Wars Battlefront" was released around Christmas time. DICE believes in creativity and world-class games, which is exactly what they did with Battlefront and its previous line of games, the "Battlefield" series. "Star Wars Battlefront" was what every kid wanted on their Christmas list in 2015.
The Hoverboard
The Hoverboard instantly became a hit and was trending on all social media pages in 2015. With no specific manufacturer, the Hoverboard is the future of transportation.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
COD: BO3 was one of the most bought games and was what every gamer and youtuber was ranting about in 2015.
Gun shaped phone case
As gun violence reached its all-time peak in 2015 in the U.S., having 90 deaths per day, no one knows what Gizmo Gallery along with other retailers were thinking when they came out with this.
The InBody
The InBody was a device used to measure body fat and other body factors, but the numbers and measurements made no sense to the customer, as they were scattered with no information on what the numbers meant.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
The Force Awakens was one of the top movies of 2015. What I remember about how it was marketed was the amount of trailers were on youtube and commercials on TV. Also, i noticed that Star Wars also partnered with other companies like Go-Gurt and Target. The commercials of these companies featured a relation to the Star Wars movie, having a Go-Gurt seem like a lightsaber in one of them.
Jurassic World
Jurassic World was one of the most advertised movies of 2015. I remember seeing a commercial for this movie every time I watched TV. The commercials were the same, but the amount of them that I saw made it impossible not to want to watch it.
Adele
Adele was a very popular musical artists especially with her song, "Hello," in 2015. Her music was marketed very well especially in relating her music to all ages.
Guns n' Roses
Guns n' Roses kept fans on the edge of their seats before announcing the dates for their 2015 concert tour. Also, they started rumors about original and legendary guitarist, Slash, and how he may rejoin for the 2015 tour.
