Report cards will be going home on Tuesday, February 1st. They will be sent home in your child's backpack.

Did your child borrow clothes from school?

Please return any clothes to school that your child might have borrowed from school due to unforeseen circumstances. Thank you for your help with this.

Highly Capable Program

Nominations for the Highly Capable Program are due today, January 21st. If you would still like to nominate your student for testing, you are welcome to email the completed packet to bess.colpron@hocksd.org

Water Bottles Reminder

Please send your child to school with a refillable water bottle each day. Students will be drinking from these water bottles throughout the day, as our drinking fountains will not be accessible due to COVID precautions.

Are you interested in Volunteering?

We are looking forward to offering the opportunity to volunteer in our school this year. We will have safety protocols in place for all volunteers at our school.


Volunteers will be required to do the following:


  • Wear a mask
  • Check-in at front office
  • Temperature check
  • Complete attestation form
  • Sanitize hands frequently
  • Sanitize work station when complete
  • Go directly to one specific location and return
  • Be cleared from District Office to volunteer
  • Volunteers must be fully vaccinated by October 18th, 2021

All students will be proficient in reading by the end of second grade and maintain proficiency until the end of fifth grade, because we believe reading is the key for all students to achieve their dreams.
