Zika Import Permit Approved

Medical student donates bone marrow to young patient
Courtney Gaddis, a medical student in the John A. Burns School of Medicine Class of 2017, joined the Bone Marrow Donor Registry. She soon discovered that she "matched" with a four-year-old boy battling cancer.

Dr. Holly Olson, deputy designated institutional official-designate of Graduate Medical Education at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, has been selected to serve as an oral examiner for the American Board of OB/GYN (ABOG).
It is with sadness that we note the death of award-winning singer and actor, Jimmy Borges, of Hawaiʻi. The thoughts of us at the John A. Burns School of Medicine and the UH Cancer Center are with his family and friends during this difficult time. Aloha, Jimmy!
