Charlton's Earth Day - Mrs. Anderson
Earth Day is Saturday, April 28th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Families can sign up online to pick up litter on certain roads at: http://www.townofcharlton.net/earthdaycom.htm#roadregform
Also, free gloves, bags and supplies will be given out at the Senior Center. The first 100 people to arrive at the Senior Center that morning receive a free T-shirt designed by a CMS student. (Winner still to be announced)
Charlton Earth Fest will take place on the town common from 11a.m. to 2 p.m., including live music, animals, vendors and children's games sponsored by CMS National Junior Honor Society students.
Additionally, there will be a New Upcycling Contest and it's open to kids of all ages. Contact Mrs. Anderson at eanderson@dcrsd.org with any questions.
STUDENTS COMING LATE TO SCHOOL:
We ask that a parent/guardian please call the school and leave a message on our absent hotline to confirm if you will be in late. This will eliminate absences being check by our notification system. Even though your child will not be absent from school, we do need a call from you to confirm they will be in late. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Please call (508) 248-1423 to confirm tardiness or absence...
