From the Principal's Desk
I hope you had a great weekend! This is the last week of 11th grade assessments this year. The 11th grade ACT and History and Science tests are graduation requirements. If you are in the 11th or 12th grade and haven't already met this requirement, somebody will be reaching out to schedule your test (if they haven't already). Just relax and try your best. You've got this! We'll begin the End of Year (EOY) benchmark exams in the next two weeks as well. You'll see several opportunities to take these on your CC schedule, some during the day and some offered through Night School. All students, new and returning, are required to participate in the EOY assessments. We also have the information for our Spring Outing! We're going to Frontier City! There is more information below. Also, the Spirit Store is open! The link to buy your ISOK gear is below! We're so close to the end of the year but we've still got a lot happening, so read carefully!
In April, the ISOK focus is "Focus and do your best on the tests", Community Service Month, as well as, Counseling Awareness Month and Mathematics Awareness Month! Keep an eye for communications about re-registration. The portal has opened! Check out the information below if you're planning on enrolling at ISOK for schoolyear 2022-2023! There is important information below for these activities, as well as Senior/Graduation activities, Career Readiness activities, social opportunities, and support sessions such as, Support Groups, Student Parent Support Groups, and Community Resource Sessions. Want Information on our Various Pathways (Night School, Focus Phoenix, Traditional, CBE Boot Camp, etc.)?
Are You Interested in Night School?
Did you know ISOK HS has a Night School program? Students in this program work on courses in Edmentum while attending live support sessions with teachers in the evenings. Does this interest you?
Please understand that the school is providing teachers to support you during the evenings, so it is important that you commit to attending and participating for the evenings on which you sign up. Please do not sign up if you do not intend to participate regularly.
