SWES Family News For March 11th
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
Next week all SCCPSS schools will be on Spring Break however, we want our students to keep up with the great progress they have made so far this school year and therefore we will be sending home a Spring break work packet for students.
Kindergarten and 1st grade: highly recommended to complete and turn in (optional - parents discretion), incentives will be given for K & 1 students who do complete their packets
Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5: Should complete work packets as teachers will be offering extra credit & or incentives for all students completing and turning in their work packets on time.
Lost & Found: Parents stop by the front lobby this week if your child is missing clothing and or lunch bags please come to see if it is in our lost & found. It will be on display Tuesday - Friday. Anything left over after Friday will be donated to one of our local area churches/shelters.

Peachjar District Communication for Parents
Our school district is going green! Starting Tuesday, March 12th Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools will launch a new electronic flyer communication tool called “Peachjar.” This includes electronic flyers delivered as a newsletter to your inbox, along with the ability to view school approved flyers at any time by clicking the “Peachjar” button on your school website.
This “green” initiative will save our schools tons of paper and reduce copy costs by thousands of dollars. On top of that, posting school flyers in this electronic backpack removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff, and volunteers.
No action is required on your part.
You will receive a welcome email from our service provider (Peachjar) that includes a username and password. This is provided to give you the opportunity to manage your account and flyer delivery preferences – including an “Opt-out option”.
You do not need to login to receive or view school digital flyers.
To ensure smooth delivery of this communication, we suggest you add firstname.lastname@example.org to your email contacts. When you receive your first eflyer, be sure to click “always display images.”
