News and Reminders
Faculty Meeting Monday: Please bring your laptops. We will hear from three students in the Extended Studies class, review the 10th period survey results, take the tenth period teacher survey and recruit “polar bears” for the plunge!
Booster Shot Assemblies: Mike, Betsy and I will meet with students prior to each grade level lunch. Thanks to those of you who provided input. Please be sure to join the students at one of the assemblies. Students should bring their books to the auditorium. They will go to their lockers and lunch after the assemblies.
Club Stipends: If you have been running a club for a full year or more and are not getting a stipend, please let me know this week.
News from the District: The 2016-2017 school calendar has yet to be finalized. The district is waiting on information regarding the county wide BOCES calendar and testing dates from the State Education Department that impact the scheduling of school breaks. We are hoping to announce a calendar prior to the February break. At this point, we do know that school will begin on Tuesday, September 6th, 2016.
