The Science of it.....
Connection #1 to science - UV Radiation
Explanation of this clearly showing you understand how this connects back to science - The pigment takes in UV radiation in sunlight, so it helps to keep skin cells from UV damage. Your body actually makes two kinds of pigmant. One is called eumelanin and it is responsible for the golden brown color we normally associate with tanning. Another pigment is called phaeomelanin and it makes you burn.

Connection #2 to science - Mechanics of the body
Explanation of this clearly showing you understand how this connects back to science - While tanning can often make your body feel like a million bucks, occasionally it also produces one of the worst feelings a human body can have known as tanning itch. It makes you feel like you wanna peal off your skin. You may also wanna get it checked out because it might cause cancer and other things.

I wonder......
1. Is there any Radio Waves in tanning?
2. If you have sunscreen on can that cause cancer?
3. Can Tanning make you brake out?
4. Does tanning have a way to be good for your body?
