Cleveland PTA kicks off March is Reading Month

"Team Up for Reading" was the theme this year at Cleveland Elementary. It's a general sports related theme. The PTA provided the funds for Paws to appear at school for the kick off assembly. In addition, to get students excited about reading month, they were able to go pick out their free books from the Kiwanis Club that we were awarded earlier this year by recommendation of Livonia PTSA Council. The Livonia Kiwanis Early Risers Club presented the Cleveland Elementary PTA with a free Scholastic Book fair, in celebration of 100 years of the Kiwanis Club!

Way to go Cleveland Elementary PTA!

Rosedale celebrates March is Reading Month

Rosedale students enjoyed a fun reading month with our theme of "Treasure a Good Book"! With the help and support of our PTA, we were able to create weekly adventures for our students including a treasure hunt, reading below the decks (desks), pirate booty (snacks & popcorn) and ended with dressing like pirates as we read in our very own pirate ship in the gym! Our teachers sure make learning and reading fun at Rosedale!
