Dear Jaguar Families,

This is a quick update about upcoming and important events.

• I am most excited to share our very first student newspaper. Congratulations to Ms. Copeland and her 7th Grade Honors students for publishing our very first issue. I have attached the link below and encourage you all to read through it when you can. They did a phenomenal job.
• TEAM DAY HAS RETURNED! Mark your calendars for our 22/23 Team Day. It is scheduled for 11/22. The day starts with an assembly celebrating our Fall Athletes as well as the team day competition. If your student is interested in a team day shirt, please see the QR code below. Blue teams will wear blue and green teams will of course wear green.
• Student Council is sponsoring our first community service project of the year. Our fall food drive begins November 7th and ends November 18th. The top 3 homerooms to bring in the most items will receive a prize!
• The district is hosting another Drug Awareness night on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Verrado Middle School.
  
• Don't forget we have no school on November 11th in observance of Veterans' Day; and our Thanksgiving Break begins November 23rd.
• Our next Site Council meeting is scheduled for November 30, 2022. It will be from 5:30-6:30pm in the Media Center.

HOW CAN I TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE TAX CREDIT?

Complete the attached form and return to the school of your choice by April 15, 2023 or mail to the District Office prior to April 15, 2023 in order to take it off your State of Arizona taxes at the time you file for 2022.

We are in desperate need of boosting our tax credit accounts. We believe involvement is crucial for our students so this year we are offering more clubs than ever before.
