Special Announcement
From the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE)
Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP)
USDA granted IDOE more money for FFVP this school year than ever before!
With this increase in funding, IDOE wanted to make sure that all eligible schools had the opportunity to apply for the FFVP Grant.
Eligibility for this program is based on the individual school’s free and reduced eligibility percentages. IDOE will be basing the percentages from October 2019 data due to changes in data from COVID-19.
FFVP is a great way to introduce your students in grades pre-k through sixth grade to a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.
This program is a competitive grant, which means you must submit an application.
IDOE receives a limited number of funds from USDA to support FFVP. IDOE is required to start with the highest free and reduced eligible schools and distribute the funds until they are depleted. Meaning not all schools that apply may be awarded funds to operate the program.

Deadline to apply is Friday, June 25, 2021.
