Book Fair
TeSA Families,
April is a busy month with lots of fun activities. Be sure to check out the information in this newsletter about Cowtown and Field Day. Also, we are working hard to keep kids reading and raise critical funds for our school with our spring Scholastic Book Fair. We are so excited to be able to offer students a sense of normalcy and joy after they’ve missed so much this year. Our Fair will connect your kids to notable books and inspiring characters — helping them become lifelong readers. All purchases will directly support our school!
Important information for our Fair, held April 26th-30th:
Safety First: The safety and well-being of your child is our priority. We’re taking extra precautions to host a safe, socially distanced Fair at our school, focusing on preventive measures.
- Contactless Checkout: With Book Fair eWallet, a convenient digital payment account, your child can shop the Fair cash-free. And now grandparents, friends, and others can contribute to the eWallet to help build your home library!
- Shop Online: Experience the Book Fair fun by visiting our Book Fair online! You can shop over 6,000 products — and all orders ship direct to your home (with free shipping on book-only orders over $25*)!
All purchases made during the Fair will bring our school 25% in rewards.
Visit our Book Fair Homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping:
Thank you for continuing to support our school.
Artistically & Academically Yours,
Betsy Compton, M.A., M.A.T., M.Ed.

Cowtown at TeSA
This Friday, April 16th is the Cowtown Race! Cowtown is coming to TeSA! If your student signed up for the Cowtown, be sure they wear or have their PE clothes AND tennis shoes for Friday. Please check the forecast for Friday. If the morning looks a bit chilly, be sure to send your student with a light jacket as well. Cowtown T-shirts, medals and any shoes that had to be returned due to size, will also be distributed on Friday. If you have an At-Home Learner who signed up for Cowtown, arrive about 10 minutes early to check in with the front office. All Adults need to check in at the front desk and then walk around building to back for the Cowtown race. If you are unable to attend, Coach B will collect your T-shirt and medal and arrange a pick up date at a later time.
Cowtown Schedule:
Kindergarten: 8:05- 8:50
First grade: 8:55-9:44
Second grade: 9:50-10:35
Fifth/Sixth grade: 10:40-11:30
Third grade: 1:10-2:00
Fourth grade: 2:05-2:50
Field Day
TeSA’s Field Day is Friday, April 30th! Field Day is a really great day to celebrate all things PE! Kinder through 2nd grades have Field Day the first half of the day, and 3rd-5th have their Field Day the second half of the day. At-Home students are encouraged to attend! Coach B has LOTS of surprises for Field Day, BUT, she needs YOUR help! Field Day is entirely funded, as well as a large part of the PE budget, through Field Day T-shirt sales! Please consider buying a Field Day T-shirt for your student! All students wear their Field Day T-shirt on Field Day. Each grade has a different color T-shirt to help with safety on Field Day.
Click HERE to order this year’s 2021 Field Day T-shirt for your student. Please find your child’s grade and click that specific T-shirt color. There is also an option to add a donation to the PE Department for Field Day and equipment. Field Day T-shirts will be on sale NOW through Wednesday, April 21st. ONLINE ONLY! Shirts will be distributed at school on Tuesday, April 27th. Order your student’s Field Day T-shirt TODAY!

TeSA Applause
We are so excited that Mrs. Searway is nominated in our Rockstar Teacher contest. One of our patients thinks she is very special! The winning teacher receives $100 and the nominating class receives a treat, too. Go to our Facebook clinic page and click on the link pinned to the top of our page to vote for Mrs. Searway. Each person is allowed one vote per day for their favorite Rockstar Teacher. Voting ends on April 16, 2021.
