It's here ! The next training day followed by our quarterly town hall meeting will be taking place on 8th April in our Capco offices at Karadzicova and in Crowne Plaza at Hodzovo namestie.

1. Business Analysis : OPF reference data
This course will cover the basic description of OPF functionalities, overview of Business Analysis – principles, techniques and basic set of reference data (not exhaustive due to the capabilities of OPF solution).
Leaving the course the attendees would have learned:
- Basic understanding of OPF functionalities
- Set of reference data required for initial setup of OPF solution (not exhaustive)

2. Security in Java
This training will be aimed to cover Introduction to java & web security including java security basics - theory and examples and web security basics - theory and examples. The training will not cover deep security, full knowledge of security theory or configuration of an actual server.

3. SCRUM
This training will cover a short repeat of scrum knowledge, advanced scrum, training tests. This course includes certification.

4. Project Management 201
An intermediate to advanced one day course on the skills and knowledge required to manage projects successfully at Capco.
The goal of this course is for the experienced project manager to apply their prior training and business experience in identifying, addressing and resolving issues commonly found in client situations. By the end of this interactive course you will be able to apply your project management and client relationship skills to face many of the issues and challenges experienced in project situations, including: conflict within the client team, identifying root causes for problems, issues, or risks; dealing with political power and hidden agendas; identifying opportunities for Capco to add value and strengthen client relationships.

5. Soft-skills: Managing Conflict and Presentation Skills
Managing Conflict: This course will enable you to better understand why conflict occurs and the different styles of conflict management.
Leaving the Managing Conflict course the attendees would have learned:
- Understand the 5 different styles of dealing with conflict
- Understand your own preferred style(s) of dealing with conflict
- Developing strategies to deal with a real life conflict scenario
- Identify why conflicts escalate and the consequences
- Identify strategy for preventing conflict escalation
Presentation Skills: This course is designed to provide practical hints and tips on how to effectively deliver a presentation from body language, materials, tone of voice and resources. The course is designed for anyone delivering presentations but will also support those who facilitate workshops and large meetings. This course provides an opportunity to practice presenting in a safe environment.
Leaving the Presentation Skills course the attendees would have learned:
- Understand what makes a compelling presentation
- Increase awareness of own presenting style, particularly body language, eye contact and use of voice
- Provide opportunities practice and improve delivery in terms of body language, eye contact and use of voice
- How to present using visuals

6. CM Basics/CM Products basics
This course will provide an overview of ‘Capital Markets’ as well its Products, Trades, Market participants
Leaving the course the attendees would have learned:
- Provide an overview of ‘Capital Markets’ including background, introduction, characteristics, structure, participants
- Gain basic knowledge of financial products such as fixed income, money market, foreign exchange, equities and commodities products, including cash and derivative instruments

7. MS Excel/MS Visio

8. Business Analysis BACCM: Functional design training
This course will introduce The Business Analysis Core Concept Model (BACCM) which focuses on the structure and execution of Business analysis tasks, related to the main topics – concepts such as: Change, Need, Solution, Stakeholder, Value and Context.
It does not cover the Technical or system based specific solutions, however it covers the overall strategy definition and analysis execution.
Leaving the course attendees would be familiar with the BACCM, understand relationships between the concepts, be able to understand business analysis tasks from overall perspective.
The target audience of the course: Business Analysts (both junior/senior ones)

9. TCoE Boot camp training - Testing 101
This course aims to explain why is testing necessary and what is testing. Further topics discussed include: Testing in Capco and in Bratislava, methodology, test types, strategy, planning, preparation and execution. It also covers defect management and test reporting.
After attending this training, the participants should have overview about all discussed topics and be able to do the foundation ISTQB certification after completing necessary self study based on ISTQB syllabus.

10. Murex – Onyx
The purpose of this training is to familiarize the participants with MXTEST, the new
MX.3 testing tool. The trainees will be able to configure, run, analyse and troubleshoot ONYX tests. The training comprises several exercises covering MXTEST features and the existing testing coverage.
After the completion of the training the attendee will be able to:
- Install ONYX MXTEST
- Identify its main functionalities and
- features
- Configure and run test packages
- Analyze test results
