English & Social Communications
We did an English presentation. Kids came in and saw our projects. They asked us about them. They also told us what they thought about them. It was a fun activity because we get to talk to other kids and show our projects.

In Social Communications we visited Ms. D’s class to talk to them about their English Projects. We told the students how well they did and asked them questions. After that, we had treats in class and shared some social time.
World Readiness, Math, and Speech
By: Luis Ortiz
In World Readiness, we made trail mix. We added marshmallows, M&M’s, Chex cereal and popcorn together. We put it into bags and tied them with ribbons. We delivered them to teachers, social workers, and other staff. We wished everyone happy holidays.

In math class we learned how to use measuring cups to make trail mix. First, we needed to get all of our materials. Those were measuring cups, paper, pen/pencil.Then, we named all the ingredients: M&M’S, Popcorn, Marshmallows, and Chex.We needed to measure 1 cup, ½, ⅓, ¼ cups.We wrote all the ingredients and the measuring cups on a piece of paper to make the trail mix. That’s how we learned to make the trail mix.
In speech we did a role play of how to deliver trail mix to the teachers and staff members. We used different phrases like Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Hope you Enjoy and Have a Great Winter Break. This helped us get people in a good mood for the holiday.
