Texas ABLE® Program Open for Enrollment
The Texas Achieving a Better Life Experience (Texas ABLE®) Program is officially open for enrollment.
Texas ABLE, based on federal and state legislation, provides Texans with disabilities and their families the opportunity to save money for disability-related expenses in a tax-advantaged account without losing their eligibility for certain public benefits such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Medicaid. Texas residents who experience the onset of a disability before the age of 26 and meet program eligibility requirements may open a Texas ABLE account.
Visit the Texas Able® website for program highlights, eligibility requirements, and enrollment.

If you utilize Connect2Texas content enhancement programs with your students, please take the time to complete our end-of-year evaluation. The evaluation is anonymous and will take only a couple of minutes to complete. Our goal is to continue to improve the quality and value of our programs for our participants. We welcome and value any feedback you have about your experience with us. The findings will be shared with the Connect2Texas content providers so they can plan and prepare to meet your needs for the 2018-2019 school year.
Thank you for a great year, and we look forward to connecting with your students next year. If you have any questions contact Lori Hamm-Neckar, (817) 740-7516.
