Now (what has happened this week)

Welcome to our weekly newsletter!

Hello from Balladen School.

What a busy week of learning we have had!

On Monday some of our children were playing and learning outside. Reception and Year One were having a wonderful time working well as part of a team.

On Tuesday Key Stage One and Reception has their last Zumba session. They have really enjoyed the dancing.

On Wednesday Year Four were designing and making natural sculptures in the style of Andy Goldsworthy. They had a really good time and enjoyed expressing themselves.

On Thursday Years Five and Six had a superhero day. There were some amazing costumes. Thank you so much for your support. Please do have a look on our twitter page for some great pictures.

On Friday we very sadly said goodbye to Miss Bradshaw who has been with us here at Balladen for over ten years. We wish her every success for the future.

Please do have a wonderful holiday and we look forward to seeing all of the children back at school with big smiles after the holidays.

With respect,

Mr. Neil Ringrose

Food hygiene rating 5

Esther and her team work incredibly hard in the kitchen both preparing food and ensuring that Balladen has the cleanest kitchens around. Our kitchens were inspected recently and we are very proud that we received the highest rating possible for hygiene. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Esther, Linda and Carol for all of their hard work.Well done to them!
