Hope & Renewal Interfaith Prayer Service kicks off the spring semester!

Hope and Renewal Interfaith Prayer Service (HARPS)

Thurs. February 4th, 2021 at 3pm Livestream on the HARPS webpage

Join us as we livestream our 4th Annual Hope and Renewal Prayer Service--H.A.R.P.S.! This annual event serves as the spiritual blessing for our Loyola community for the beginning of the Spring Semester. H.A.R.P.S. is an interfaith worship service designed t recognize the diversity and richness of the various faith traditions represented at Loyola and our surrounding communities.

Join us for a weekly examen to step back from your busy day and take a few minutes for reflection. Pre-registration is required.

Cura Faith Sharing Groups

Small groups meet weekly! Sign up now!

Cura groups will gather virtually each week to reflect and pray together, discussing topics that are relevant to your lives as students. Groups include 5-10 participants led by 1-2 student leaders. Join a general group or a theme that fits with your interest or identity.

Group themes for Spring 2021:

  • Women’s Spirituality
  • LGBTQIA+ identified students
  • First Year students
  • Anti-racism through and Ignatian Lens

Campus Ministry will be offering pop-in Examens for any students, student groups, classes or clubs to give a space for our community to pause and reflect on their day and their week with a guided student or staff-led Ignatian Examen.

22nd Cardinal O'Connor Conference on Life

Georgetown University, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST

The theme of this year’s conference is “Global Pro-Life Approaches in the 21st Century.” The event will feature a distinguished panel of pro-life advocates who will examine how to build a technologically innovative pro-life movement in our nation and around the world, as well as a keynote address by Gianna Jessen and Aimee Murphy, a virtual Holy Hour, and a Mass for Life. Abolishing Racism: White Accountability Space

8 sessions starting Friday, Jan. 29th from 2-4pm

The Abolishing Racism: White Accountability space has its first meeting tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 29 form 2-3pm EST. Join a conversation for all students, regardless of race, about abolishing racism and white accountability. To align with accountability, students must commit to the whole series. There will be 8 sessions, and the seies will wrap up before Spring Break and finals.

Sister to Sister is a space open for women of color at Loyola to participate in interactive and engaging dialogue. The bi-weekly conversation series provides an opportunity for personal and professional networking, information sharing, as well as providing a safe space for support, advocacy, and empowerment.
