OWL Parent Workshops

Dear Mary M. Knight families, we will host our second parent engagement workshop on February 23 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. Mrs. Ehler and Mrs. Jewett will host a workshop to work with parents to understand the basic math facts that their children are working on and walk away with some strategies and activities they can use to engage with their children around these math concepts. This is a fun and relaxing opportunity to get to know and work with each other while hearing the great things we are doing around math with your children.

January Empathy Character Trait Winners

At Mary M. Knight, we began our Character Strong program, where we learn about a critical character trait each month. January's trait was empathy. Students spent time daily learning about empathy and how to continue developing and applying that trait in school and outside. Our elementary empathy award winners included Xavier Lingnau, Kylie Fischer, Rebekah Fischer, Rylee Cook, Tyalinn Rich, Akari Malie, and Toni Koonrad. Congratulations OWLS, and keep up the great work!
