Distance Learning
There is a schedule for when each teacher will be available for a Google Meet to help answer any questions about the assignments given throughout our time away.

If you’re missing work, please encourage your students to get it completed. Students can access all information and assignments on Google Classroom. If you have any questions, teachers are available by email, Google Meet, and/or Remind. Advisory Google Meets are everyday at 9:00 AM and teacher office hours are from 8-9 AM and 2-3 PM.

Monday 11/23: Unit 4 Goformative Cooldown Corrections and Test
Tuesday 11/24: Catch up day. Meet with Teachers on Google Meet to catch up on assignments.
When we return in person, we will work on making corrections, catching up on work, and retaking our Percentages assessment before moving on to positive and negative numbers.

This week, students will learn test over Unit 4: Percentages from our Open Up Resources Tasks. Important vocabulary words and sample problems are available in the Family Newsletter from Open Up Resources.
Students should be using Edmentum ExactPath Math Learning Path at home for 15 minutes per day. Please check out this resource for more about Edmentum.
Students who do not have a 3 for one of the units can continue using the Retake Agenda to practice their skills.

This week, we will finish up our unit on symbiosis. When we get back from Thanksgiving break, we will reteach any topics under organism relationships that students struggled with over our virtual learning time.
I CAN identify the basic characteristics of a symbiotic relationship, including mutualism, commensalism and parasitism, and list examples.

Social Studies
Week at a Glance:
The students have been doing a great job in social studies! Lessons and instructions are posted daily to google classroom for you to complete on your assigned Fulton or Hornet day. This week we will continue to learn how the Spanish and French explorers had positive and negative effects on the new world.
We look forward to seeing our students on November 30th. Take care and be safe!
Learning Target for the Week:
Compare the reasons that Europeans wanted to explore and settle in the new world - explaining the similarities in the explorer's goals, and differences in the way they created settlements and treated the natives.
