Be a Difference Maker
August 28, 2020
From the Principal...
Dear Seton Community,
I hope you all are well and looking forward to our first day of school on August 31. It was wonderful seeing so many families during our Back to School Move In Night. Please continue to read through our newsletter each week and watch your emails carefully. I will continue to do everything I can to keep you updated, and I ask that you are attentive to school communications. With school only days away, please practice social distancing and mask wearing so that you and and your children remain virus-free for the start of school. Staying healthy and staying open will be a team effort.
Some quick reminders as the first day approaches---
- Masks are required for all people who enter our building. Students will have an opportunity to remove their masks when they are able to socially distance, when they are eating or drinking, or when they are at recess.
- Parents and visitors will not be able to walk their children to classrooms this year. There should be no parents or visitors in any of our hallways unless going directly to the school office for office business.
- Students will only be exiting the building through the main door on Superior or the back door on the playground. No students should be leaving the building from the smaller door on Superior or on 8th Street.
- If you are planning to have your child attend Aftercare, you must fill out a new registration form prior to their first day of attendance.
- The Archdiocese Waiver must be signed and turned in by August 31 for face to face instruction to occur.
- Make sure you have a thermometer at home to monitor your child's temperature throughout the school year. A temperature of 100.4 or higher will require your child to stay home.
- Please keep your child home if ill. Even mild symptoms will not be allowed in school.
- Find a healthcare provider if you do not have one. If your child is sent home with symptoms of COVID-19, you will need to contact your healthcare provider.
If you have concerns or questions, please reach out via email at nardis@sheboyganseton.org.
We continue to pray for the health and safety of all of our Seton families. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.
Sincerely,
Dr. Stephanie Nardi, Principal

Important Breakfast and Lunch Information
Students will be seated in classroom only cohorts during both breakfast and lunch, and lunch times will be staggered. This is to reduce exposures and to allow our students the opportunity to eat lunch in our cafetorium each day.
There will be no access to a microwave this year. To reduce COVID-19 spread, the microwave has been removed from the cafetorium. Do not send items with your child that need to be heated. They will not be heated.
One suggestion for difficult to open packaging as illustrated above is to include a blunt tip child's scissors in your child's lunch bag to allow them to open their own food items.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
