E-books are an electronic version of paper books.
Where are they published?
E-newspapers are mainly focused online as to their original physical copy. They can be viewed online or you can download them, meaning you can read them when not connected to the internet. They can be accessed by most devices that can connect to the internet, e.g a smart phone.
E-Magazines:
E-zines are very similar to e-newspapers, in that they are a digital copy of the physical thing, and can be accessed online or for download, on most devices that connect to the internet, e.g a smart phone.
E-Books:
E-books tend to be downloaded off of a website, such as www.eBooks.com. Once downloaded you can then read/listen to the book you have purchased. You can also read them on e-book readers, such as a Kindle.
Target Audience
I feel that the target audience for e-newspapers the target audience would be 20-50 years old. The reason I think this is because anyone younger would not necessarily be interested and anyone older would prefer the paper version as its easier to use
E-Magazines:
I believe that e-zines would be appropriate for younger people such as 15-30 years old as they would prefer the technological side of things compared to the paper versions.
E-Books:
E-books are best suited for people aged 14-60 years.
Why were they created?
They can be accessed at any point if there is a connection to the internet, this means they're more mobile. The newspaper will also then be condensed to the size of what device you are using.
E-magazines:

E-Books:
If you use an e-reader, there will be thousands of books to read that will only take a few minutes to download, making it easier to access books you would like. It also means large books will be condensed into the size of your e-reader.
