BOO to Drugs!

The last week of October we are celebrating Red Ribbon Week as we say Boo to Drugs! We need YOUR help! Please send as much individually wrapped candy as you can! No bag is too big or too small! Here is our plan for the week (Please wear only school appropriate clothing; no short shorts, no tank tops, etc.:


Monday Oct 25th- It's All About You, BOO! (Your favorite outfit or color)

Tuesday Oct 26th- Give Drugs the BOOt! (Your boots and/or western wear)

Wednesday Oct 27th- Be BOOjee & Drug Free! (Your fancy stuff: tiaras, suits, ties, dresses, sparkles)

Thursday Oct 28th- Say BOO with a BOOk (Your favorite book character costume)

Friday Oct 29th- At VES, We Say BOO to Drugs! (Halloween or Fall Tshirt)-All students will receive their BOO BAG of candy on this date. PLEASE SEND CANDY!

Picture Retakes

We are having some issues with a yearbook photo vendor. Some pictures have been delivered, some have not. It's a hot mess! Please stay tuned as we may have to reschedule the retake date again if original pictures aren't received before October 8th.

Car rider and walker parents, we need your help! We want every student to be able to eat breakfast so please have your student arrive early enough to be in the cafeteria by 7:30. This will give them time to eat and begin instruction on time. We appreciate your help!

Reminder: No one, at no time, will be permitted into the building without a mask.


We work diligently at VES to prevent the spread of Covid-19 at school. Thank you for complying with all of our policies and procedures to keep everyone safe. No one is allowed into the foyer without a mask! Please do not send your student to school if your child is not well. Please also contact the office. It is very important that we are notified if your child has tested positive or been in direct contact with someone who has tested positive.
