Welcome New & Returning VG Families,
We hope you are enjoying every minute of summer; it is hard to believe the new school year is right around the corner.
WE ARE GETTING READY FOR ALL OF YOU!!! The office opens on July 24th and our office hours are 7:30-4:00. Many of our teachers have begun to set up their rooms and meet with their grade levels to collaborate on curriculum, projects, field trips, and more! District Staff Trainings are set for August 8th and 9th and we are excited to begin another school year! We have parent-guided playdates happening on August 9th and the first day of school is on August 10th and is a minimum day; see below for details.
August 10th: 1st Day of School- Minimum Day
- TK-AM 8:00-9:30, TK-PM 9:50-11:20
- Kinder: 8:00-9:30
- 1st-5th 8:00-12:00 PM

SRVUSD Annual Update
Each year, SRVUSD families must update their Parent Portal.

Vista Grande Registration
VG ONLINE Registration Opens July 24th at 12:00 PM/NOON
A separate email will be sent out Monday morning with the link to our Future Fund/VG Registration.
(We do not have an in-person registration)
IMPORTANT: MUST DO- In order to volunteer on campus or chaperone a field trip
"In SRVUSD, we continue to prioritize student safety and improve our procedures for processing and clearing volunteers. We are making some enhancements to SRVUSD's volunteer clearance process via our volunteer management system, Be A Mentor (BAM), effective for the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year.
We have 3 Noon Duty Supervisor Positions that we want to fill to support our students during lunchtime!
Please submit your application or share the links with someone you know that would be interested!
TK through 5th Grade
If you didn't get the chance to purchase school supplies we highly encourage you to do so. These are utilized throughout the school year in every classroom, by every student.
*Families who ordered through 1st student, your student's supplies will be delivered directly to the school and to your child's classroom indicating your child's name. So this is one thing you no longer need to worry about :)
Would you like to make our vision a reality?
We are transforming our Technology Lab in our Library into our VG COZY CORNER for our students. We have overhauled this space and made it a location where students can enjoy lunch recess for those who would prefer an indoor location filled with books, games, and more. Our teachers will also utilize this space throughout our school days!
This is a great opportunity to clean out some toys, legos, magna-tiles, small animal toys, dolls, small bookshelves, bins, and more.
The goal is for this space to be donation based :) WIN-WIN- you clean out and we create our vision!
*We will begin collecting items the week of 7/24/23 and email those who responded to the Google form to let you know if your items will or will not work in our updated Library space!
We will continue to look through this GOOGLE FORM for those who want to contribute at this time or in the future!

Summer access to all apps in ClassLink will end on July 25 in order to prepare for the fall opening.
