Annual Education Report
Our Annual Education Report for the 2021-2022 school year can be found on our website. If you desire a hard copy, they are available in the office. We are so proud of our academic performance last year. Dare to be remarkable!
I am crossing my fingers in hope that spring will start soon. We are all looking forward to warmer weather! Here are some upcoming events:
For all 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students, we will host our first Friday Fun Night on March 10th from 6pm-10pm. Any students attending will sign up for three different Friday Fun activities they are interested in. Activities will include 3-3 basketball tournaments, volleyball tournaments, arts and crafts, board games, a video game room, karaoke, and a movie room. There is no cost for this event. Food will be available to purchase at the concession stand and all items are $1.00. All 5th and 6th grade parents are welcome to attend and help with either supervision or planning. The event will start at 6:00pm in the auditorium. If a student plans on attending they are required to stay for the entire night. Any questions please email Chris Kidd at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All students in 3rd-8th grade will be taking spring assessments. This includes PSAT and M-Step. More information about spring assessments will be coming out shortly.
Data drops were conducted by all of our teachers and intervention staff to discuss strategies and differentiated instructional techniques for every child at Holly Academy. Thank you to Tina Craven for running the data drops.
March is Reading Month activities are occurring daily to encourage reading. Please try to motivate your child to spend some time reading at home.
Thank you to Mrs. Melero for running the book fair. It was awesome and very well attended!
