Message from the Principal
Thank you for your support of Mrs. Myers during my absence. It is great to be back at Chapman with our students and staff, I sure did miss them! Conley Grace was born on November 4 and she is just the perfect addition to our family. I immensely enjoyed my time home with her and big brother Kellan! Below are a few pictures of my little ones that I am happy to share with you.
I hope that you are staying warm amongst all of the snow that we have gotten! There are some announcements below about temperature reminders for recess and snow play. Winter Parent/Teacher Conferences are right around the corner and you should be hearing from you child's teachers soon to schedule at time to meet. Our PTA has an upcoming fundraiser at Raising Cane's! Be sure to see the flier below and write down the date on your calendars! Who doesn't enjoy the perfect opportunity not to cook dinner for the night!
I have done my absolute best to catch up on everything that happened while I was out on leave, but if there is something that you need my support or assistance with, please don't hesitate to send me an email or call me at (440) 572-7140.
Thank you!
Mrs. Harrell

PARENT/FAMILY SURVEY
We want to hear about your experiences with your child’s education. It includes questions about your child’s learning, school safety, and interpersonal relationships, as well as your attitudes about the institutional environment and your personal involvement in school. Your responses will be very helpful in improving student relationships, learning conditions, and the overall school environment.
All your responses are completely anonymous. We have no way to connect you to your answers, and results will only be reported as group responses. There are no right or wrong answers. We just want to know about your personal experiences.
As you respond to each item, think about your own personal experiences as a parent or caregiver at your child’s school. Please answer all items, or your answers won't count. This survey should take approximately 10 minutes.

WHEN SHOULD YOU KEEP YOUR CHILD HOME FROM SCHOOL?
PLEASE DO YOUR PART. IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT FEELING WELL, KEEP THEM HOME and CONTACT THE SCHOOL.
In order to do your part in preventing the spread of germs, it is imperative that we are frequently doing symptom checks of our children at home. If your child is displaying any of the following symptoms, please keep them home and inform our front office. We will work to ensure that your child stays up to date with assignments and the teaching taking place in the classroom:
- A fever of 100 degrees or higher. This is one of the strongest Covid Symptoms
- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Persistent cough or runny nose
- Loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
We need you to assist in helping us, by monitoring for these symptoms on a daily basis, and keeping your child home if they aren't feeling well.
