Virtue of the Week: March 28-April 1

This week's virtue has been caring. Caring is giving love and attention to people and things that matter to you. When you care about people you help them. You treat people and things gently and respectfully.

AMP Testing Update

Due to an unexpected issue with AMP, our third grade testing has been moved to Monday and Tuesday next week. Fifth grade is testing today and tomorrow while our fourth graders will test next Wednesday through Friday. Please feel free to call the front office if you have any questions.

Looping Classrooms

It's that time of the year again Sundog parents. Please be sure to get your orange intent forms back to the school as soon as possible as these help us plan for next year.

Boundary Exemptions

Boundary exemption forms must be submitted each year for each child attending Shaw. Please share this information with any families you may know who might like to attend Shaw. Boundary exemptions are due to the school by Friday, April 29th.

Welcome to Kindergarten Night

Save the date! The 4th annual welcome to kindergarten night will take place from 5:30-7:30 on Thursday April 7th at Larson Elementary School. The event is hosted by MSBSD and CCE Head Start. Please pass this information along to any family you may know who has an incoming kindergarten student.

Order Your Yearbook Today

Shaw Sundog yearbooks are now available to purchase for $20. You may purchase the yearbooks online at the School Cash link located here. Yearbooks will be distributed to students around mid April.

Looking for some online assistance with your child's homework? Perhaps you're looking for an educational program to challenge your child at home. Take a look at our core academic programs as well as some supplemental programs such as Moby Math right here. Please note, some programs require your child to recall their username and login info.

School Report Card: 2014-2015


As a requirement of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, states and school districts must issue annual report cards to parents. The purpose of the report card is to provide parents with information about the district and their child’s school in terms of teacher qualifications, academic achievement, and school/district accountability.
