Suicide prevention
The beginning of the semester at penn state a student comes in the counslelimg center and upset says Ben Locke(the associate director of clinical services for the school's Center for Counseling and Psychological Services). The student first goes to his family but they turn him down. Locke states " that the services will help the student change his life for good... And reducing stigma for those people is absouloutly critical. So in the end mental health is in need at collage more so that suicide doesn't happen again. Therefore institutions are training faculty and students to help people with suicidal thoughts and also stop them from hurting themselves on purpose. So schools are trying to stop suicide prevention for good
