Mark Twain Nominees

The 2016-2017 Mark Twain Award Nominees have been announced! The final award winner is voted upon by students in grade 4 through 6. The 2014-2015 winners were: Wonder by R.J. Palacio. Chomp by Carl Hiaasen and Pinch Hit by Tim Green. The nominees are chosen from work by American authors and the book must have been published two years before being nominated. The idea is to nominate books which will enhance a child's life. My pick for this years winner is Navigating Early by Clare Vanderpool.
