History of computing

I am going to be talking about

Drives, monitors, CPU, Ram/Rom, Motherboards, Inputs/Outputs, touchscreens. then, history of computing. Alan Turing Tim-Berners -Lee and 4 Generations of computers.

The hardware in a computer is the machinery, writing and other physical components.

A drive is something you can download information on it and store it. It is useful in many ways such as if your a teacher you can download information or work on it. If you want to keep pictures or important files safe you can download them on the drive.

A monitor is a electronic receiver used in a studio to select the picture being broadcasted. Its often named as a computer screen. The monitor displays the computers user interface and open programs.

A modern CPU is usually small and square with many short, rounded, metallic connectors on its underside. CPU stands for central processing unit.

Every transfer is a out put from one device is an input to another. CD keyboards and others are inputs devices and printers and headphones are out put devices.

It is used to store information and data to keep safe. One thing about this device and storing information on it that the information can not be removed once its been put on it.

Mother board

A motherboard is a printed circuit board containing the components of a computer

Touch screen

A touch screen is a display device which allows the user to touch the screen to move the mouse.

Alan Turing

Alan Turing was a computer nerd.

Alan Turing was not a well-known figure during his lifetime. But today he is famous for being an eccentric yet passionate British mathematician, who conceived modern computing and played a crucial part in the Allied victory over Nazi Germany in WWII.

He was also a victim of mid-20th century attitudes to homosexuality, chemically castrated before dying at the age of 41.

Tim Beners Lee

He was a English computer scientist (computer nerd) who invented world wide web. He was born in 1995 at the moment he is 59.
