Lower Mills Monster Mash 2017
We can all attest to the fact that hard work pays off and Friday night was a prime example!! We had a sold out Monster Mash 2017 and the question I kept hearing repeatedly was, "Can we have Monster Mash Part 2 next weekend?" The decor was perfect, the cupcakes were delicious, the DJ was fantastic and most importantly...our students and families created memories that last a lifetime! It is at times like these, that it is even more powerful to reflect on the value of our school community and the blessings of Catholic Education! Thank you to Jessica for spending all day on Friday decorating the gym and thinking of every detail! Thank you to all of the families who stayed several nights after work with me to map this all out! Now we just need to get through Halloween and before we know it...we will be planning for WinterFest!!!

I think we got an A+ for our handmade decorations!
It wasn't just the students who had fabulous costumes!!
STEM Week at SJP2CA Lower Mills Campus
From Monday, October 23rd to Thursday, October 26th, middle school students will be immersed in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in our state of the art Science Lab! We are proud to share that this is our second year of a full week STEM immersion program! i2 learning describes the STEM immersion experience, "Teachers and students will work in teams to solve real-world problems in a classroom where hands on experimentation, critical thinking and even failure, will be encouraged and used as teaching techniques to engage and inspire students." #OurStudentsareFutureMITstudents

Lower Mills Mission Group
Grade 8 students were able to spend a day at Boston College and reflect on their personal leadership qualities and how these gifts from God can inspire and impact our school community. This group of 5 young ladies from grade 8 have transformed this project into something much larger! Students in grades 1-8 were nominated by their peers as a class representative to join the Lower Mills Mission Group every Tuesday after school. The final results from the nominations will be shared at Prayer Service this week. First agenda item, Catholic Charities Friends Feeding Families Food Drive!
