Welcome Back!

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! We are looking forward to welcoming our students on Tuesday, August 27th. We hope that everyone has had the opportunity to recharge with friends and family. Lets have another amazing year!

New School Hours

The school day will now begin at 7:45am and end at 2:18. In addition to the start and end of our day, we will be adjusting our lunch waves and passing time, resulting in increased instructional minutes for the school year!

Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:15am.

Students taking the bus will be dropped off in front of the high school and students who are driven to school and picked up from school will still enter and exit through the door on the side of the middle school building facing the new field.

Student Schedules and First Week

All Scituate High School students and their families now have full access to their high school schedule. Families should follow the Powerschool link at

Please keep in mind that although Scituate has many wonderful course offerings, sometimes there may be unavoidable scheduling conflicts. In these cases, every attempt was made to replace the conflicting course with a comparable one, with priority given to courses that fulfill graduation requirements.

If you have questions or concerns about your student's schedule prior to the start of the school year, please contact Kaitlin Hitchings at

Students are encouraged to print or save their schedule so they are prepared for the start of school on Tuesday, August 27th at 7:45 AM. Any family who may not have access to the internet or a device should contact our Guidance Office and a hard copy schedule will be printed on Tuesday morning.

Students should check their schedules Sunday night to make sure rooms are updated and accurate.

We are so looking forward to another great year and a successful partnership with all Scituate families!
