Art for the Sky Project - May 11, 12, and 13

We are pleased that the UES will again participate in an Art for the Sky project! In 2014 we created a White Tiger, and in 2017 a Giant Birthday Cake! On May 11, 12, and 13, our entire school will work with artist Daniel Dancer to create a giant work of art that will tie in with our 2021-2022 Read It Forward book, The Season of Styx Malone. For more information about Art for the Sky, visit https://www.artforthesky.com/default.htm.

On May 11, students will have a virtual assembly to learn about Art for the Sky, and a few students will be selected to begin laying out the art on the field. On May 12, our entire school will create the 2022 UES Art for the Sky. And on May 13, students will attend an assembly with the artist Daniel Dancer to see the beautiful project created. We cannot wait to reveal this year's project!

Students have been assigned a color shirt to wear by homeroom to create the live art. Students will need their shirts for May 12! Please make sure that the back of the shirt is completely clear (no graphics, letters, etc.)
