Hello Moravia Park Families,

Happy August! I hope you are all staying well and enjoying your summer with your loved ones. I am excited that less than a month away, we welcome back our wonderful scholars for the 2021-2022 school year! I am incredibly proud of our partnership this past year, coming together during challenging times, and finding ways to continue to support our scholars as learners and leaders. Beginning August 30th, scholars will return five days a week to full time school at Moravia Park. As a school community, we have learned so much this past year, and we are excited to collectively grow our hearts, minds, and our school community.

This past school year, we were one of the largest in-person school sites, welcoming scholars back for in-person and virtual instruction, as well as offering after-school programming for scholar enrichment experiences. This summer we have continued to provide instructional and enrichment learning experiences for our Moravia Park scholars through our various programs: Judy Center Summer Camps, Lion Learning Camp, Summer LIT, and SALA. It has been awesome to see our scholars shine this summer and we look forward to continuing to see them do so this school year.

This school year we will continue to prioritize health and safety protocols, as the safety of our scholars, families, staff members, and community members will remain at the center of our work together. While we know our work ahead will be challenging, we know as partners in the work, we will support our scholars to have a successful year of growing and learning! Throughout August, we will have Back to School festivities, to get exciting about our new school year. We hope you join us and we look forward to seeing you throughout August!
