Eclipse Monday
We will plan to be outside from 1:35-1:50ish.
Our campus will be CLOSED TO VISITORS from 1:00-2:30.
Kindergarten through fourth grade students will have glasses to go outside tomorrow afternoon for the eclipse. We are hoping the weather cooperates. We will have the east driveline blocked off for us to use. Students are expected to SIT with their class while outside. The map below shows where each grade level will sit. Please make sure you've talked to your students about the dangers of not wearing the glasses properly and be very vigilant to ensuring their safety while outside.
If you have students whose parents have opted them out, please let us know and we will make arrangements for where they will stay inside.
PreK, please consider looking at the materials provided by the district or other things you've found to give your kids knowledge about this unique event. You should be able to experience the totality through your window, but please do not let students look at the eclipse. Mrs. Schwind, if you'd like to take your class to Mrs. Kvamme's room to take advantage of the windows, please feel free to do so!
Let us know if you have any questions!!!
This week, we will be learning about celebrating our differences in honor of Autism Awareness Month!
