Personal Life and Work
At Rollins College Fred Rogers met Sara Joanne Byrd, the one girl that would end up being his wife. In June 9, 1952 they got married and then by 9 years later they had two kids by that time. The moment Fred Rogers decided he need to be in a television job is when while watching children's tv shows and seeing horrible things like people throwing pie in other peoples faces and that small moment is where everything changed.
After 75 years of life, his body finally gave up and he died. With a pretty amazing record too with multiple awards including a Nobel Piece Prize and many more awards. Mr. Rogers truly was a gift of nature and a gift to all of us.
