Textbook, Chromebook, and Uniform return

Any student that has materials they do not need for 2nd semester should plan to return them next week. Material return times will be:


MONDAY, DECEMBER 14

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 15

3 PM to 7 PM.


All items can be dropped off on the tables that will be in front of the Main Office. Once they have been dropped off, we will scan them for who they belong to, and check them in appropriately. Please pay special attention to this return date if you have an EARLY GRAD.


Be sure to think about these items:


  • Chromebooks that have been replaced by another one. Please return the cord also.
  • Textbooks for semester classes that the student will not be in 2nd semester.
  • Novels that have already been read in English classes and were checked out from the library.
  • Textbooks for classes that have been dropped for 2nd semester.
  • Textbooks that were not returned from last year.
  • Uniforms for any sport that the student still has (please bag those with a name).
  • Hotspots that the student no longer needs.


New materials that students need will be sent out the first week in January after the break. If you have any questions about what can be returned, please call our office 815-334-2100.

Schedule Changes for 2nd Semester

Students may request a schedule change from classes in 2nd semester. Schedule changes will be granted on a space available basis only. Students that are requesting to change elective classes will only be done if there is space available in the newly requested classes.


Students that have failed core classes 1st semester at the Honors or AP level may request a level change for 2nd semester. Again, these can only be done on a space available basis.


All students were mailed a copy of their 2nd semester schedule and their current grades for reference.


ALL SCHEDULE CHANGES MUST BE COMPLETED BY DECEMBER 11TH!


Students should contact their counselor immediately for any schedule change requests.

Did your student miss their appointment?

Current 9th and 10th grade students have already completed their course selection process for the 2021-22 school year. Counselors are currently working with the current Juniors and will complete those next week.


However, many students did not show up for their scheduled appointment with their counselor. If your student misses their appointment, our counseling secretary will be contacting you. Please verify with your student that they met their counselor and this has been completed for all students. If your student has not met with their counselor, they must contact their counselor immediately. This should completed before December 18.
