Healthy Recipes
Healthy Breakfast Recipe:
1 scrambled egg
2 tablespoons of shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons of salsa
1 whole wheat tortilla
Wrap up all the ingredients in the tortilla and BAM you have a quick, healthy breakfast
Healthy Lunch Recipe:
1 cup fresh blackberries or raspberries, finely chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
2 teaspoons honey
1 pound chicken tenders, cut in half crosswise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
3 tablespoons cornmeal
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
Healthy Dessert Recipe:
Nonstick cooking spray
3/4 cup all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting the pan
2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
2 medium very ripe bananas
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup canola oil
2 large eggs
3/4 cup white whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Excercise Ideas
Exercise Idea #1:
Running by yourself or with your dog allows you to escape from life for a little bit and focus on your health. It is a good cardio workout that burns calories and fat quickly.
