There are some events coming up with some post graduate service partners. If you would like to chat with us about anything having to do with the application process or anything, please do not hesitate to let us know. We are happy to do a virtual meeting for now.

Opportunities
Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry
The priority application deadline for Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry is coming up on January 15th, 2021, and winter break is a great time to work on your service year applications!
Live Compassionately, Receive and Offer Healing, and Share in Liberation:
Commit to Post-Grad Service with Bon Secours Volunteer Ministry (BSVM)!
- 11-month commitment. Full time service while living in intentional community.
- Program provides housing, health insurance, transportation for the year, and a monthly stipend.
- One community in two locations: Baltimore, MD and Richmond, VA
- Serve within the Bon Secours Mercy Health System, providing a ministry of presence—placements in:
- Clinical and Public Health (Emergency Department, Behavioral Health, Mobile Health Clinic, Inpatient Unit)
- Social Services (Housing and Community Development, Spiritual Care)
- Education (Early Head Start, Middle School girls, High School)
- Live in the neighborhood where you serve in radical solidarity with the poor, the suffering, and those most in need.
- Be a part of an intentionally small and focused community with lots of support. 10-12 volunteers each year.
- Grow spiritually, live simply, develop community, practice God’s justice, learn through service with others.

NETWORK Associate Program
The NETWORK Associate Program is an 11-month intensive educational and professional development position in legislative advocacy rooted in the principles of Catholic Social Justice.
NETWORK 2019-2020 Associates
Designed to cultivate growth into a career in the advocacy, politics, research, communications, or organizing arenas, Associates develop practical, translatable skills by contributing to NETWORK’s daily operations and mission.
From late August through July, Associates will immerse themselves in Washington, D.C. and all it has to offer, undertaking experiences in legislative policy, research, lobbying, advocacy communications, networking, and media.

Augustinian Volunteers
The Augustinian Volunteers are recent college graduates who feel called to spend a year in service to others while living in an intentional community. Volunteers serve with local community partners in social service, campus ministry, and education placements.
By engaging in a way of life inspired by the Augustinian Friars, volunteers experience personal and spiritual development as they build relationships with fellow volunteers and those they serve.
Applications are reviewed at the monthly board meetings beginning in February.

Jesuit Volunteer Corps

Good Shepherd Volunteers
Good Shepherd Volunteers is a one-year full-time volunteer program that serves women, children, and adolescents affected by poverty, violence, and neglect in the United States. Volunteers live in intentional community with each other, have a small living stipend, and practice the four GSV tenets (program values): social justice, community, spirituality, and simplicity. Good Shepherd Volunteers has placements in a variety of social service organizations where volunteers work side-by-side with experienced social workers, counselors, and educators. Placements are located in Maryland, New York, and New Jersey. You can learn more on our website.

Project Horseshoe Farm
The Community Health Fellowship is a unique “gap year” opportunity for top recent college graduates from across the country. Since 2009, more than 112 graduates have served as Fellows, and the program continues to grow.
Project Horseshoe Farm offers Community Health Fellowship programs in Alabama and California. Alumni consistently express how transformative their Fellowship experience has been, and Fellows go to some of the top medical schools, graduate programs, and nonprofit organizations across the U.S.

PULSE
PULSE cultivates a community of young servant leaders to transform Pittsburgh. We invite talented university graduates to partner with Pittsburgh nonprofits for a year of service and leadership. PULSE Fellows serve for 11 months beginning in August.
Who are PULSE Fellows?
As a PULSE fellow, you would serve with a Pittsburgh Nonprofit, live with other fellows in intentional community, and grow as a leader. Through all our activities, we will equip and develop you to become a young adult to be civic and community leaders with a heart for service.
What do PULSE Fellows do?
- SERVE WITH A NONPROFIT – Serve 35 hours/week for a year (August to July) in a Pittsburgh nonprofit connected to your vocational interests and nonprofit staffing needs. Check out our partners for 2020-2021 and some of our previous nonprofit partners.
- LIVE IN COMMUNITY – Cultivate community by living together with other fellows and sharing meals, household tasks, finances and learning experiences.
- GROW AS A LEADER – Participate in leadership training and development (orientation, weekly seminars, retreats, mentoring, one-on-one coaching, etc.)
What are the benefits of becoming a PULSE fellow?
PULSE fellows are provided with food, lodging, transportation, some reimbursable health insurance expenses, and a modest monthly stipend. PULSE fellows receive resources to fund their own personal development and are eligible for student loan deferment.
Colorado Vincentian Volunteers
The year-long program offers an opportunity for spiritual, emotional, professional growth, and a way of discerning and living one's Christian vocation.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The priority deadline is April 1, 2021 and Applications are processed in the order they are received.
Change A Heart Franciscan Volunteer Program
Change A Heart (CAH) Franciscan Volunteer Program is an 11 month faith-based volunteer program that calls young adults to live and serve with Pittsburgh nonprofits to help the most vulnerable among us.
Working full-time with organizations that align with their interests, our members directly serve individuals on the margins of society—across all ages, backgrounds, and areas of need—at service sites throughout our region. We offer housing, food, transportation and a monthly stipend for personal items.
Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis for the 2020-21 program year.
