Tardies and Skipping will not be tolerated. Parents please speak with your child/children about the importance of reporting to each class period on time daily, as this impacts their achievement regarding content mastery! Scholars reporting to class after the sound of the "Tardy Bell"...must do so with a "Tardy Pass"...which must be retrieved from the front office.
Big picture
Students identified as skipping or having excessive tardies will be placed in "Reset & Restore" ~ In -School Suspension (ISS) to reflect on their "off-culture behavior" and to create an action plan as to how they will commit to making better choices moving forward. We love all of our scholars and want them to be most successful!!!

No "Outside" Food or Drink Allowed!!!

Big picture

Outside food is not permitted during school hours. This means that all outside food deliveries are prohibited.

Updates to Restroom Procedures

Big picture
For the safety and security of all students and staff, we have made a few changes to our restroom procedures. At MSHS, restroom doors will be locked during lunch, all transitions, and during the first and last ten minutes of class. Only the 1st floor will have an open restroom that will be frequently monitored by a MSHS team member. Thank you for your understanding. Thank you for all that you do! #SafetyIsOur#1Priority

Student Safety Reminders

Safety and Security of Our Scholars: Signing In/Out When Leaving Campus is MANDATORY!!!

Parents, please discuss the importance of your child signing in/out when leaving the campus. The safety and security of your child matter to us. Individuals picking up your student not on the list to pick them up as identified in Skyward will receive a citation for trespassing/criminal trespassing warning.

Student Drivers/Student Passengers

Reminder to parents about student drivers:

Parents, please talk to your child about safe driving. Reckless driving in our campus parking lot in which accidents have occurred in the past, will not be tolerated. Non-licensed/Non-insured students are not permitted to drive to campus, nor should they have passengers in a vehicle with them. ALL unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense!

In addition, student drivers are not permitted to leave campus during daily instruction, nor during lunch, as this causes a huge safety concern!

Student Parking Permits

Big picture

Any student that is driving on campus, you will need to purchase a parking permit. Please come to the front office to pick up a form to complete. You will also need to provide a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and $20 cash only. See Mrs. Arellano during all lunch periods, and before or after school.

“I AM SOMEBODY!”

Inspired by Rita Pierson & Les Brown

I AM SOMEBODY!

I was somebody when I came

I will be a better somebody when I leave

I deserve the education that I get here

I have things to do...people to impress...and places to go

I know what I want in life and I will do whatever it takes to get it

I will never allow other people’s opinions of me to become my reality

I AM SOMEBODY!

I will "Make An I.M.P.A.C.T."

I will live my dream because...

I deserve to live my dream

I am powerful

I am “Manor ISD Strong”

I AM SOMEBODY!
