What a glorious start to the Easter break and what better way to help get rid of the chocolate fix than to get outside while the weather is as great as it is. May not be too long and we will be moaning about the winter chills! Let's make the most of it. If the wintry blasts start to hit next week then don't forget to remind your kids about Mr Hantz's Hatathlon competition! Design and create a hat, send him a picture of it and they could win a really cool animal hat. Send the finished images to martyh@taraprim.school.nz
When we return to school we will be at the Orange setting however for the first week at least we will still maintain and encourage staff wearing masks and having three separate staff rooms. Our actions so far have resulted in a really low Covid-19 impact and that in turn has meant that we have had very few staff and classroom disruptions.
Thanks to all those who will be attending the Anzac Service at the Taradale Town Clock on Monday. Whether you are representing TPS or another group, it is awesome that you are giving your time to remember and commemorate those that fought for our freedoms so many years ago. There has been such a resurgence in the numbers attending these services and it would be grand to think that because of this then this might lead to fewer world conflicts in the future.
There will be a post shared soon via Hero of an ad for a swimming coach, needed by the Dolphin Academy. Full training given and hours that would suit a parent with tamariki at school...worth thinking about!
Have a safe break!
