Optional Canvas Training - Wednesday, Nov. 18

There will be an optional Canvas training session tomorrow from 1-3 PM with a Canvas trainer that will focus on how to use Canvas Studio in your instruction. The session is capped at 50 participants but will be recorded and posted for future reference.

There is a link on it to a Parking Lot document that participants can put their questions on either before or during the session.

Zoom Updates

Doorbell enabled: The Zoom doorbell has been set to auto-on so that you don't have to enable it for every class.


Video passcodes turned off: The passcodes for class videos that are recorded have been turned off, since authentication is already happening.

SORA Reading App

SORA is a digital reading platform that will give students access to children's and young adult eBooks from both GAPS Libraries and Albany Public Library in the same app, from any type of device. More information coming in the Library Resources Update.
