Teacher Appreciation Week May 3 - 7, 2021

As we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week during this time of uncertainty, please take a moment to recognize our TMS-E educators for their hard work and devotion towards our students. It takes a huge team to bring about this success!

What I have learned this year through this COVID experience is how much I value the expertise our teachers bring to TMS-E, the ways in which they have nurtured our students to continue to grow, and the effort they have put forth. The relentless support I have received from each teacher at our school has made this year’s journey joyfully possible.

Please help me in thanking our TMSE teachers, they are OUR HEROES.

Children's Mental Health Awareness Week

Children's Mental Health Awareness Week is May 2nd-May 8th. It is important for our students to learn that caring for their mental health is a vital part of living a healthy, fulfilling life. Our students need to know that it is not uncommon for them to experience mental health challenges during their lifetime and that it is not just OK, but it is important, for them to ask for help when they do. Attached is a calendar of mental health activities that you and your family can participate in throughout the month of May.

THANK YOU NURSE Kristina!

May 6th is National School Nurse Day, and this year more than ever we are truly grateful for Nurse Kristina and her level of expertise and genuine care for not only our students but ALL of us!! We are thankful that she handles multiple tasks, makes us all feel better, provides life saving skills and has a sense of humor as we navigate this most unusual year. Please let her know that you appreciate her dedication.
