What's happening the week of February 28 - March 4, 2022
Department of Business and Operations
I want to thank our parents for their patience and understanding during this school year as we experience a significant shortage of bus drivers. Although there are still some late busses with substitute drivers, Illinois Central has worked very hard to ensure our students have a timely, safe ride to and from school.
Did You Know?
In addition to our regular before and after school routes, Illinois Central also provides:
Elementary band & orchestra shuttle to the middle school for after school rehearsals
Leman Middle School activity busses
We are currently exploring our after-school opportunities at the elementary schools and hope to provide more activities and transportation sometime in the future. I’d love to hear any ideas you might have. You can email me at apostolik@wego33.org

We are pleased to share that the Board of Education approved the recommendation to hire Ms. Sarah Norton as the interim Coordinator of Partnerships, filling the position held by Joie Frankovich for the past three years. Joie will work with Sarah for the next few weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
