A Message from Dr. Frischkorn
Last week was a special week at Mayfield. First, we celebrated our students of the month for September and October. We recognized over 60 students who displayed terrific character traits and were tremendous examples of students showing their Bobcat best on a daily basis. We enjoyed having so many parents join us in celebrating our wonderful students. We look forward to the remainder of our student of the month celebrations that are scheduled throughout the year.
Second, we were visited by several people who served in various roles in the United States Armed Forces. Our special guest veterans met with students in each of our four campuses and shared their story of service for our country. Their stories resonated with our students and our students were amazing audience members. We are so fortunate to have a community of volunteers who are willing to come into our school and work with our students. Thank you to the veterans for your service.
Finally, today we hosted our 2nd student social of the school year. We had our Fall Festival after school. Activity buses were provided for students so that all students had a chance to participate if they brought in their permission slip and purchased a ticket. I would like to thank Ms. Broskey, Ms. Hammad, Mr. Medrano, Mrs. Maldonado, Mrs. Birmingham, Mrs. Webb, Ms. Herrera, Mrs. Holt, Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Stone and Mrs. Kaufman for your volunteer work to make this student social so successful!
