NMS CELL PHONE POLICY At North Middle, cell phones are OFF and AWAY except during lunch/ recess and bus call at the end of the day. 1st Offense: Student will receive a warning. 2nd Offense: Student can pick up their phone at the end of the day in the office and parents will be notified. 3rd & 4th Offenses: Parent or Guardian must pick up the device from the office. 5th Offense: The school reserves the right to require the student to check-in their phone at the main office or homeroom every day. Visitors will need to remain in the vestibule (waiting area). Parents/Guardians who are signing their student in or out will use the iPad provided in the waiting area. If you have an appointment, please remain in the waiting area until a school member arrives to escort you to your destination. | TRANSPORTING YOUR STUDENT TO SCHOOL? Parents/ Guardians who are bringing their students to school should enter into the Martinsburg/Berkeley County Recreation Center parking lot from Woodbury Avenue and slowly drive straight toward the school via the access road parallel to Athletic Street. In the afternoons, parents/ guardians should also enter the Martinsburg/Berkeley County Recreation Center parking lot from Woodbury Avenue and line up behind the buses. Once buses have departed, you can pick up your student at the bike rack on the Athletic Street side of the school. |
