Hello Sundance Families!
It was an exciting week at Sundance! At today's Friday Flag we celebrated Black History Month, acknowledged our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Koenig, Classified Employee of the Year, Ms. Mary, and received a special recognition for being PUSD's first Common Sense School. We were joined by Associate Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Burkes, Board Members, Michelle O'Connor Ratcliff and Ginger Couvrette, and Executive Director Kimberlie Rens. As a Common Sense School, we are committed to teaching our students how to be digital learners and leaders by using technology responsibly. Don't miss our next Mindful Monday linked here. I look forward to seeing your child's STEAM project after the break. Thank you to everyone for submitting proposals.
Don't miss details about our Fun Run below! Take a look at those prizes - thank you to our Foundation/PAC for putting this together for our school. The funds will support our vision around flexible seating, updating our Innovation Lab with new tech tools, staffing, and more!
Have a nice break,
Mrs. Katz, Principal
