Wednesday, February 17th - Searching for Jobs in Your Senior Year
Are you getting ready to graduate? Need to start planning for that full-time job? There's a lot more to finding a job than handing out resumes or going online. There are several different methods for finding employment and it's best to use a variety of them for success. Join us to get the resources you need to be successful in your job search!

Thursday, February 18th - Learning How to Dress for a Job Fair
This is a great opportunity to learn about what not to wear to a job fair. What looks good on a Saturday night at the club will probably not look professional at the Job Fair. We'll answer questions and provide insight on how you can dress for success!

SPRING JOB & INTERNSHIP FAIR

Career and Professional Development invites students, alumni and campus community members to the Biggest Career Event of the Year - the 2016 Spring Job & Internship Fair!

The Spring Job & Internship Fair will be on Thursday, February 25th from 12 pm - 3 pm in the Recreation & Convocation Center. This year's theme for the fair is Blast Off Into Your Career! There will be approximately 100 employers with available jobs and internships to apply for, a LinkedIn photo booth, and door prize giveaways!

Professional dress is strongly encouraged.

The UT Austin Spring 2016 Communication Job & Internship Fair is in two weeks and all students are welcome!


The career fair is a great way to get started on your job or internship search. This semester’s fair will be held on Wednesday, February 24th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in UT Recreational Sports Center. With over 85 employers scheduled to attend including PepsiCo, Denstu Aegis Network, Energy BBDO, KLRU-TV, Razorfish, and Susan G. Komen Austin, this fair is sure to be a great one! Be sure to dress to impress and bring enough resumes to give to your favorite companies.

UT Health Professions Fair

UT ​HEALTH PROFESSIONS FAIR 2016 SAVE THE DATE

When: Wednesday February 24th, 2016
Where: The University of Texas at Austin - Texas Union Ballroom
Time: 10am-2:30pm


The Health Professions Fair is held each spring. Approximately 600 students, alumni and community members attend. In addition, 70-75 professional schools are generally in attendance. This event is an opportunity for anyone who attends to meet and talk with admissions representatives from practically every health professions school in the state and many from across the country. We know it would be impossible for most of us to visit every school, so we bring the schools to you!


All UT Austin students, UT alumni, and students attending colleges in the surrounding area, along with any community members who are interested in finding out more about the health professions career pathway are welcome to attend. We encourage business casual attire.

Expand your leadership capabilities and prepare for your career future at the Forté College to Business Leadership Conference. A one-day interactive event, this conference will give college women from diverse academic backgrounds the chance to explore different functions in business, gain valuable leadership experience, and meet representatives from leading companies and business schools. The conference is free and a travel stipend is available for women traveling more than 50 miles to the event.

Career Accelerator Information for Students

Career Accelerator is a program designed to prepare St. Edward’s University students for competitive internships and full-time opportunities. By participating, students will have a chance to connect with featured summer 2016 internship providers. Students selected to participate will learn how to:

- Develop an effective cover letter and resume
- Interview competitively
- Connect with high-profile companies and organizations
