Message from the Principal
We are so excited that we have been able to bring back some students to campus! So far, we are running two non-instructional cohorts at school from 7:50am-12:10pm daily. The cohorts are being supervised by myself, our Noon Duty Ana Zepeda, Instructional Materials Technician Ceni Nunez, as well as rockstar parent volunteers Pat Baily & Stacia Okura.
We hope to add more if we can find more staff/volunteers. Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering. So far, we have prioritized students who have no one to supervise them, or are struggling with Distance Learning. It is so exciting to see students back at school. It is a reminder of how much I hope to return to school.
Please, continue to follow all of the safety protocols in your community so that we can bring out County numbers down! Once we get to 25 new cases per every 1,000 people in Sonoma County, the Govenor says that Districts are permitted to open. I know that SRCS is doing everything they can to get us ready for that. We are already making plans to be ready to return on March 1st, including placing students in small cohorts (TK-2nd grade). The plan is that those students would phase in first, then we would add 3rd-6th grade. For more information about the District's RTS plan, click here: https://www.srcschools.org/page/4464
Remember that parents were given the option to continue in Distance Learning. We are planning for this as well.

Incoming TK/K Registration: Register for the Lottery here:
srcschools.org/charterlottery between 1/15-2/15. All incoming children (including siblings of a CCLA student) must fill that out in order to enter TK/K. Remember, in years past, we have had to hold a lottery, as we have had more interest in our program than space. If you DO NOT fill out the form, your child will miss the deadline and spots may be filled by other students. Again, all interested students, including siblings of current CCLA students, must have the Google Form filled out. If you have any questions, please call the office.
Current TK students automatically roll over to Kindergarten, you do not need to fill anything out if your child is currently in TK.
7th & 8th Grade Enrollment:
If your 6th grader wants to continue at CCLA for 7th grade, please fill out this application as well (all students will automatically be accepted). We want to make sure that we are aware of each CCLA 6th grader that wants to continue to 7th: srcschools.org/charterlottery
