Students of the Month - October

Congratulations to October's Students of the Month. This month's theme was kindness.

Bo Peep: Morgan Murrell and David Roberts

Redwater: Remy Stempel and Corbin Green

Morning Arrival Procedures

As the weather gets colder we just want to remind parents that the doors of Bo Peep and Redwater remain locked until 7:45. There are no teachers on duty until after this time. Students should not be pulling or banging on the doors trying to get in. Students are welcome to go to the cafeteria to enjoy a free breakfast every morning.

Winter is Coming!

The cold weather and snow are here whether we are ready for it or not. Please make sure your children are properly dressed for the weather. Students will be going outside for recess as often as possible. Hats, boots, gloves, coat, and maybe snow pants too would be great to keep our students warm.

Sports Schedules

We are doing our best to keep everyone updated on sports schedules for both junior high and high school. They are constantly changing due to COVID, so please be patient with us. You can check the weekly Wildcat events update on Facebook when it is posted on Mondays as they will be the most accurate at that time.

Honor Band and Choir

This is still happening, but it will be virtual. Students will be submitting videos of their performance. Please contact Miss Isaacson if you have any questions.

Griz/Cats Food Drive

Thank you to everyone that donated to the food drive this week. Cats came out the winners this week!

Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive

It’s time for the 12th annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive benefiting Pajama Program, a nonprofit organization that provides new pajamas and books to children in need—especially those living in group homes, shelters, foster care, and orphanages.

Since 2009, caring classrooms across the country have risen to the challenge and donated over 500,000 pairs of new pajamas. The Scholastic Reading Club has more than matched those numbers with over a million new books donated directly to Pajama Program headquarters, where they are then distributed across the country by Pajama Program.

Our school wants to be part of this drive so that we can help make a better bedtime for these children. Together we can help the Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive reach even more kids with pj’s and books. The pj’s that we collect are distributed to children in Eastern Montana, so your donation stays local.

If you and your child are able to participate, please have your child bring a new pair of pajamas to school by December 3, 2020.

Here are some simple guidelines for the pajamas:

~Pajamas must be brand-new.

~Pajamas in all sizes are needed—from newborn to adult.

~Pajamas must be in complete sets or nightgowns.

~Pajamas in children’s sizes must be manufactured as pajamas—this ensures

that they are flame-retardant and safe.

Thank you for helping us share the gift of a good night’s sleep and a sweet bedtime story.
