Books were hand written down from scholars and the books were expensive to buy so the common people couldn't afford books. With the help of the movable type printing press books were able to be mass produce. Common people were able to buy these books to learn education and how to read and write.
With just 200 movable type printing press the most immediate effect was the output of a greater number of books being made in the 1500 were fifteen to twenty million copies of books.
